How are the funds allocated through the Community Investment Process?

The Jefferson County Community Investment Team included Marianne Arbulu, Nan Baughman, Ray Hughes, Andie Jerger, Dean Jerger, and Katrina Walton. The team’s agency review process includes several components that take time to complete properly. Jefferson agencies or new applicants submit an application to remain or become a UWBB agency for Jefferson. This application is comprised of a description of their programs offered to clients, numbers of clients served in that county, how the lives of their local clients change for the better because of their programs, budget information on the agency, and a list of their board of directors. The team also studies their budgets and hears testimonials from clients and/or agency volunteers. Upon completion, they determine which agencies and how much will be funded for that particular year.
